Quote your B2C sample with the closed quota as required by the study

Consumer and general public, with quotas by class, region, age, and brand used. If the segmentation is already in your head or document, this page exists to turn it into a proposal.

For those who research consumers and need the sample to represent a real person, not just a total.

How the segment is built

These are the same axes our quotation tool uses. Choosing here is to advance the conversation.

  • Class and region

Classes A, B, C and D, by region of the country. This is the pair that most changes results in consumption studies — and the one most often forgotten in hastily collected data.

  • Age, gender, and household composition

The demographic basics, with a closed quota when the study compares groups instead of describing a total.

  • Brand used and category consumed

Talking to a client of a specific brand, or someone who consumes a category, is screening — and screening goes into the sample record, not the questionnaire.

  • Habit and behavior

Purchase frequency, channel used, consumption moment. This is what separates the target audience from the audience that only resembles it.

Decisions worth making before requesting a quote

  • Represent or compare

A sample that represents the population and a sample that compares groups are different designs. The second requires a minimum quota per cell, and this changes the total size.

  • How far screening goes

Each additional criterion narrows the eligible audience. It's worth deciding which are non-negotiable and which can become an analysis variable at the end.

  • What becomes a quota and what becomes a question

Not every criterion needs to close a quota. Some are more useful as a question in the instrument, and this eases the field without costing information.

what the proposal needs

What to send with the request

The more of these items that come closed, the firmer the deadline — and fewer back-and-forth until the final proposal.

  • The audience in one sentence, how you would describe it to a colleague
  • The closed quotas: class, region, age, gender
  • Brand, category, or habit screening, if any
  • How many complete interviews, and if there is a minimum per cell
  • The estimated questionnaire duration
where it doesn't fit

When this is not the right option

Hiring the wrong model costs time on both sides. If your case falls into any of these lines, say so — the team will redirect.

  • Professional audience by job title and sector is not B2C — it's the B2B sample.
  • Very rare profiles may require dedicated screening; state this in the briefing so the deadline already accounts for it.

Assemble the segment and request a quote

The quote tool collects the audience, criteria, questionnaire length, and number of interviews. The team receives the request with the sample brief and B2B or B2C segmentation.
