Group product · unmoderated usability testingWhere the prototype is tested with real people, without scheduling a session
UXTap is the group's unmoderated usability testing platform: you upload a Figma prototype, a real website, or a set of screens, define the task, and people test it on their own, on mobile or computer — with heatmaps, user flows, session recordings, and AI-powered insights at the end.
For product, design, and research teams that need to validate a flow before launch — and for anyone who wants to measure the experience of a live website without gathering ten people in a room.

What it solves
Usability testing is often the most postponed part of a launch — not for lack of willingness, but because the traditional format requires scheduling, a room, and an observer. These are the four things that get in the way.
Scheduling moderated sessions delays testing
Each participant requires a time slot, a moderator, and an observer. Here there is no session: the person receives a link, completes the task when they can, and the platform records everything.
Opinion is not behavior
Asking "was it easy?" elicits politeness, not evidence. UXTap measures what the person did: where they clicked, which path they took, how long it took, and if they succeeded.
Findings need to be shown, not described
"Users got lost at checkout" is not very convincing. Heatmaps, screen funnels, and recordings of the exact moment are convincing.
After data collection, the report is still missing
Watching recordings, counting clicks, creating slides. The study concludes with task-based metrics, video highlights, analysis of open-ended responses, and a ready-to-share report.
How it works, in practice
You define what you want to discover. The platform handles data collection, measurement, and analysis.
Set up the study
Choose a template or ask AI for a suggestion based on your objective. Combine blocks — task test, first click, five-second test, card sorting, tree testing, preference test, questions — in a logical order, with conditional logic between them.
Upload the stimulus
Connect your Figma prototype, upload screen images (with clickable areas detected by AI), or point to a live website, tested by the browser extension.
Distribute the link
Send it to your user base or connect a panel of respondents via a link, with screening and quotas by profile. The test runs on mobile and desktop.
Read the results
Success rate, time, and clicks per task, heatmap per screen, user flows, recordings with important moments, themes and sentiment from open-ended responses — and a report with the conclusion in one sentence.
What the platform does
A UXTap study is a sequence of blocks. These are the features, by the stage they act in.
Test
Task testing on prototype
Imports the Figma prototype with screen connections. The person completes the mission, and the platform records every click, screen, and abandonment.
Live website
A browser extension records navigation on the live website, including comparison with a competitor's site.
First click and five-second test
Where a person clicks first and what they remember from a screen viewed for five seconds — the two fastest visual hierarchy tests.
Card sorting and tree testing
How people group content and if they find what they are looking for in your menu structure — with dendrogram and success rate.
Preference and content
Two or more versions side-by-side, and reading a text followed by the right question.
Ask
Questions and scales
Open-ended, multiple choice, yes/no, opinion scale — and ready-made SUS and NPS batteries, with the metric calculated.
AI-driven interview
A voice interviewer talks to the participant about the screens, elaborates on vague points, and transcribes everything.
Logic, quotas, and screening
Skip blocks based on answers, randomize order, control the number of responses per profile, and qualify before using up the test.
Analyze
Heatmap and user flows
Click density per screen, screen funnel with drop-off at each step, and each person's path to the goal — or until they give up.
Recording and highlights
The entire session recorded, with moments of hesitation and error automatically marked and ready to become evidence clips.
AI-powered insights
Themes and sentiment in open-ended responses, summary per screen, comparison between versions and segments, and a research report with severity per finding.
Repository
Highlights, tags, and findings from all studies in one place, with search — so the next question doesn't start from scratch.
What you receive
The study doesn't end with a folder of videos. It ends with the material the meeting needs.
Research report
Method, findings with severity, evidence, and graphs, in a shareable link — and in presentation mode for projection.
Metrics per task
Success rate, time, off-path clicks, and abandonment, comparable between prototype versions and segments.
Heatmaps and funnels
Per screen and per task, with a thumbnail of the entire screen and the drop-off between one step and the next.
Clips and transcripts
The recording snippets behind each finding and the interview transcripts, ready for presentation.
Export
PDF of the report and CSV with responses, for those who need to continue the analysis externally.
What the UXTap doesn't make
Hiring the wrong tool costs time on both sides. These are the real limits — and none of them are accidental: it's where another product begins.
- It is not a respondent panel. If you don't have anyone to test, the sample comes from Painel TAP and is contracted separately, according to the profile.
- It is not market research or CX research: NPS of customer base, recurring satisfaction surveys, and WhatsApp blasts are handled by VisionCX.
- It does not conduct in-depth interviews about the brand or category. Qualitative market conversations are handled by ZapTap, via WhatsApp, or QualiTAP, live.
- It does not tabulate surveys: cross-tabulation of questions, statistical testing, and wave comparison are handled by AnáliseTAP.
- It does not design the prototype or the task for you: the platform tests what you have defined.
Where it touches others
You can hire only this product, or the entire research. These are the points where one delivers the work to the other.
When you need participants with the right profile, recruitment comes from here, with screening by habits, device, and product experience.
When the question changes from "does the flow work?" to "how do customers evaluate the experience over time?", recurring research is handled by VisionCX.
When the test showed where people get stuck and there's a need to understand why, calmly, the in-depth conversation continues on WhatsApp or live.
When the closed questions of the study require cross-tabulation and statistical testing, the data goes to AnáliseTAP.
Frequently asked questions
What the team hears most about UXTap before closing scope.
Do I need a ready-made prototype in Figma?
Not necessarily. UXTap tests Figma prototypes with screen connections, but also accepts screen images — the AI detects clickable areas and links them — and live websites, via the browser extension.
Is someone moderating?
No. The test is unmoderated: the person receives the link, reads the task, and completes it alone, at their own time. When the study includes a voice interview, the AI conducts it, and the transcript is provided.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The test runs in the browser on mobile and desktop, and the results indicate which device each person used to respond.
Do I need to have the participants?
You can send the link to your own base or connect a panel via link and token, with screening and quotas per profile. When there is no base, recruitment is handled by Painel TAP.
How do I compare two versions of the prototype?
Publish a new version of the study, and the results show both side-by-side — success, time, clicks, and heatmap — in addition to preference testing, which presents the variants in the same session.
What do I get in the end?
A research report with methodology, findings by severity and evidence, in a shareable link and presentation mode; metrics per task; heatmaps; recording clips; and export in PDF and CSV.
